What Equipment Do I need for Telepractice?

Our clients are required to have a set of noise cancelling headphones, an updated computer or laptop as well as high-speed internet. Along with a quiet-room, that is all you need!

How does telepractice work?

The Speaking Co. simply provides you with login information, you securely login and have a live speech-language pathologist working with you on the other end.

Does TSC work with other therapy providers?

Yes, some of our client receive or have received speech therapy in other settings, i.e. schools, outpatient, etc. and we work closely with them to maximize services for our clients. We will even use past evaluations as long as they have been completed in the past six months.

Is telepractice secure?

Of course! Our online therapy platform is HIPAA compliant, and secure, so all of your personal information is protected.

How do I schedule an evaluation/consultation?

How Do Evaluations Work?

After a quick screening form families/clients fill out, one of our ASHA certified speech-language pathologists will create a custom test battery. It will include both standardized assessments, that are norm-referenced, as well as dynamic assessments, which is a less structured portion of the evaluation to get a deeper insight to areas of strength and challenges. Our evaluations also include a quick questionnaire involving past services and health history for families to complete, if applicable.
